Ben Scaglione, Hospital & Healthcare Security
Ben has nearly 30 years in the healthcare security industry. Most notably, he spent 14 years as Director of Security for New York Presbyterian Hospital and previously was the Director of Hospital Police at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. He has published many articles on healthcare security throughout his career and currently writes a column for Security magazine on Access Control and Identification. He is currently the Chairperson for the ASIS Healthcare Council and is the Vice-Chair of the IAHSS Education Council.

He is also a retired Lieutenant EMT for the Tamarac Fire Department with more than 28 years of service, retiring in 2002.
