Port of Corpus Christi Security Upgrades

Strategically located on the western Gulf of Mexico, Port of Corpus Christi is the sixth largest port in the United States in total tonnage

Strategically located on the western Gulf of Mexico, Port of Corpus Christi is the sixth largest port in the United States in total tonnage. With a straight 45’ deep channel, the Port provides quick access to the Gulf, the United States inland waterway system, and the world beyond.

G4S Secure Integration has deployed and implemented several security enhancements for the Port of Corpus Christi. These enhancements included waterside perimeter security, high-mast lighting, and an integrated video surveillance and monitoring system in 2004. The contract encompassed upgrades and integration of enhancements including CCTV, thermal imaging cameras, and motion detection systems. These improved security technologies allowed Port officials to reduce manpower, increase efficiency, and provided the Port with a more secure environment.

In 2009, G4S Secure Integration began yet another project.
