Jim Hill, President, G4S Youth Services
Jim joined the G4S executive management team in 2009.
In his current role, he oversees the company’s financial systems, corporate and operational directives, business development opportunities, contract compliance, quality assurance and case management functions. Jim is involved in legislative sessions, bills, and budgets that may directly impact juvenile justice, and has more than 16 years of experience working toward improving the interests of juvenile justice stakeholders.
Prior to joining G4S, Jim was the founder and President of Sunshine Youth Services from 2000 to 2009. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Charter Hospital of Tampa Bay, and is a former Board Member of the Tampa Bay Hospital Association.
Jim earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida. He has served as President of the Florida Juvenile Justice Association (FJJA) from 2006 through 2009, and currently serves on the FJJA Executive Board. His experience has advanced committee workgroups in contract procurement, medical and legislative affairs, efficiencies, and others in concert with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.
Jim serves on the Circuit 10 Juvenile Justice Board, the Juvenile Detention Alternative Initiative (JDAI) workgroup and maintains a strong partnership with the National Council on Crime and Delinquency (NCCD) Center for Girls and Young Women.
